My favorite spot of tofu soup. I ordered seafood and beat tofu soup! There were three small shrimps inside, which is great. The soup taste kind of thick and saltly for me so I asked for a cup of hot water, the soup becomes great after I added half cup of hot water!
However, bulgogi is not my type, the meat was come in super tiny pieces, and no taste, and it is oily, I would order another combo next time!
Have to say, the black bean in the appetizer is worse! I thought I ate stone... and fresh is cold, I don't know how long did the cooked fish was in the kitchen and waited for my coming. Insides, I like other appetizers!
The service is okay, gave me time to decide my meal and didn't make me feel rushed! -

Not bad but not the best Korean we've had.
The octopus in clay pot was overcooked and tough. Great kimchi and radish.
Tofu pot w/ chicken was good. -

One of the best value Korean food places you can find in Allston. I have been to this location probably 4 times now, and the food is consistently great especially their soondubu.
I always order their kaju soup and combinations where you pick one tofu soup and a side of grilled meat.
I ordered their intestines soondubu which I love, but it might be a little too much for the casual soondubu lover. In that case, they have a wide selection of other meats or seafoods to put in their tofu broth and I have heard nothing but great feedback from their friends that I go with.
Their grilled meat is a little bit lackluster for me. I ordered the bulgogi and it was a little too sweet even for me. Next time I will probably go for their pork belly instead, but overall I am happy with their wide selection of soup choice and will definitely be back. -

Pretty good tofu soup here! I got the pork tofu soup, which came out pretty quickly and it was piping hot. The medium spicy level was just right - definitely a decent kick but still manageable without having to drink a ton of water. The pork was slightly fatty and very savory and delicious. The soup was very rich, and everything else in the soup was fragrant and tasty. It is $14 - I've never had tofu soup in Boston, but it seemed quite expensive to me. Nevertheless, it definitely is filling after you factor in the white rice and the side dishes!

This is the best Korean restaurant, I've had around Boston so far. The food comes quickly and piping hot. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot compared to other Korean restaurants. They also have some free appetizers before your meal arrives. I like their tofu stew and mild was not too spicy just like how I like it. The service is excellent, we had our water refilled several times without asking. I'll come back for the delicious food!
